Fall color? Plenty of it, although the effect was muted somewhat by the solid overcast. Still, a good-sized, hearty crew made the run. The cars included two TR6s, one TR7/V8, one TR8, one Spitfire, plus one each MGB and MIdget, a reeally nice Austin-Healey 3000 and a number of other vehicles. Which one drew the most attention as we made our way around. The ’65 Mustang convertible, of course…
The drive started in Alton and wound up at a really great (and new, apparently) restaurant in Grafton, Southern Coastal Cuisine. Stops along the way included the overlook at Principia and Grafton Winery/The Vineyards, and also incorporated a quick romp through Pere Marquette State Park.
Our thanks again to member Ed K, who did his usual bang-up job of organizing the drive.
