Drove from St Louis to Orange Beach, Alabama, Friday night 19 April (708.4 miles, 14.8 hours, including the dinner stop in Tupelo) and how ’bout that, the Panhandle British Car Association was hosting its 29th annual “Brits on the Bay” show Saturday morning in downtown Pensacola.
What do you do? Right…get some sleep, grab the camera and head for Seville Quarter for the proceedings. I didn’t take a count but estimate there 45 or so Brit vehicles of all types on display; the 1936 AC Doctor’s Coupe served as the standout, but there were plenty of interesting cars to look at, plus a group of pipers (natch!) and a bunch of truly friendly people.
It’s always fun to see how other clubs do the “All British events,” my complements to the event organizers with PBCA, well done! This one was a lot of fun.
